Very nice angle by where you have captured this from. Beautiful sunrise with a good looking view of the reflections in the water. Nice depth and lighting. Thanks for sharing

these shots with huge blocks of buildings to compare to man are so telling. Like the way you managed to get this one of that lone angler. Excellent shot. wonderful sky.

It is a truly beautiful sunrise you have pictured here, and I especially like the fine shine and reflections from the sunrise you have captured in the water. I also like very much your POV placing the curved pier off to the right.
The photo is sharp showing clear details in the foreground, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good and it is such a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.

The hazy sun and the dark clouds in the background are impressive. The reflections in the water are remarkable. The curving peer leads our eyes pleasantly to the cityscape in the background. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. Light and colors are realistic. The photo is well composed and framed.

I like the way you have taken into account the angle of the dock into the water., it leads us right into the city and the skyline, with the bonus of seeing a lonely fishermen early doing his thing.

This is surely a unique and very interesting angle of this dock?
I like the colors and and think this is a wonderful entry. I think the horizon could be straightened a bit and the bright color of yellow in the sky softened a touch. If it were mine, that's what I would do!

Overall an interesting shot Nikman. I like the curve of the path, works nicely into the composition. The contrast of the path and the skyline buildings create attention.
I am thrown only by the burnt out area of the sun coming through in the sky, which draws my eye in, creating dominance, when I feel it shouldn't. Trying to resist that pull as the detail of the rest is where I "want" and feel I 'should want', to look.
Keep creating, :)

Early morning is the most wonderful time of the day. You caught the glow of the sunrise and clarity of the scene. The curve of the dock walks us into the story of the fisherman with a backdrop of the distant city life. I have driven part so Route 66 but I envy anyone that has taken it all the way to California. Nice shot to start your trip.

I love the curve of the pier and the bright colors in the sky. My one problem is that nothing is quite in focus, so It's difficult to look at any one thing.
