Steve,
A very peaceful, atmospheric & beautiful picture of the two leafless trees & a small Palm tree reflected on the glistening waters of the lake or river that has flooded over it's bank. The sunset's after glow in the sky reflected on the water behind the tees adds both colour & a sense of utter peace. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

very interesting and unusual photo posted here...i like the sunset glow and its reflection in the water...mild sloping hills at the back are adding charm to the photo.The highlight of this photo is the bare trees in the frame....their waving reflections are increasing the appeal of this photo many times....focus ,clarity and composition excellent..overall very impressive....good luck for the contest...

Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural.

This is a beautiful creation. I like how the darkness at left gradually changes into soft light. The colors are beautiful. Your creation is superb and met your thematic perfectly. The dark silhouettes and their reflection look incredible among the red otherworldly glow. Your mixed media is excellently composed and framed.

Outstanding photo and the quote is perfect. These are the feeling I had as I spent a week in Northern Canada fishing for 22 years. We would do outpost fly-ins and some would say the silence is deafening. Not me!
Back to my review...Construction, lighting and colors are stunningly perfect. From the top to bottom the afterglow is giving enough light to backlight the trees and still provide some shadow effects. As the shadows disappear into the evening shadows, night is drawing near. Nice work.
