hoh look at them social distancing. There are wonderful shadows constantly and amazing marks in the sand. I feel likewise. I really like this picture. There is something, I don't know, appealing about it. yes, can't say what though! Some childhood on farms, mayhap?

Yep Portugal take the virus and social distancing a priority. We have had some English who didn't wear masks to go into a cafe on main land even when told, said the barman said ok. He was being polite??? Where is the respect? We are not used to such in Portugal. The whole scene was appealing with that sunlight. I took a load of snaps. Thank you for a good review. I value yoyr comments.

Wow thank you. This review made my day. I thought the top was very light and did try to adjust but that is as it really was. The ferry docks on the mainland. Leaves about 6.30 and goes to a neighbouring island village first Farol where the lighthouses are. Then us, gets to mainland about 8.15. Most of those o the bridge are workers and school children.

Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear true and natural. Well composed and presented!

Hey Brenda,
What a unique scene with this tractor lit by the low rising sun. The shadows add a nice almost abstract look. The colors are nicely rendered and the focus is sharp. Well done.
As this is a contest entry, and I want it to do well, I will offer a couple of thoughts: The background of the pier, people and sky are very bright and somewhat over exposed. This is common for a smartphone as the sensors adjust for the Average brightness of the scene. Thus the camera exposed for the tractor lighting correctly by overexposing the brighter background. I only use an iPhone and this is such a common problem. The brightness causes a loss of details and pulls the eye away from your main subject of that wonderfully colored tractor. I am not sure how much you can correct this with after photo yet I think it is worth a try. I want this one to be as perfect as possible for the contest. Just my thoughts. I am not going to deduct 1/2 star for the background as the rest of the scene is very nice and well done.
