He is so cute! I love the way you decided to portray the ears! I have a chihuahua that has huge ears. His are always straight up, but the size is what matters. :)) No pun intended. Nicely done.

I admire anyone that can take a chuck of charcoal and create anything that looks like something. To be perfectly honest with you, I had to read the contest to ee that this is a dog entry. No offense but my first impression was a goat. His droopy ears reminded for a moment of a goat's head and horns. You have to understand that I wear bi-focals. Either way, your talent is far superior to my ability to draw anything.

I admire anyone that can take a chuck of charcoal and create anything that looks like something. To be perfectly honest with you, I had to read the contest to ee that this is a dog entry. I am impressed by the simplicity an the humor of this drawing. The bold brush strokes are appealing. The abstract touch at the shading is unusual, but intriguing. The expression of the dog is pitiful and funny. The big eyes with the light reflection in them are especially touching. The dog is well placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.
