Very beautiful artwork....when ever I see your work it inspires me ...you make simple pencil work look so beautiful....I always end up adding details to my painting....hopefully one day I will be confident enough to make good work like you.... the composition is so good... eye holds your attention...shading details are excellent...thanks for sharing

What helps me with my paintings and drawing is doing thumbnails of various layouts for the same compositional elements, usually 5, but sometimes more. I try to get my students to understand that concept, so they will not overwork piece, it works most of the time.

There are so many lines and blending with a parrot's eye. You have captured the look very precisely. I wonder what he is seeing? I guess that would be you. You have mastered the art of not too much but not too little.

Simple drawing is one man's idea but I see a very complex series of lines that bring the scene to life. The shading and dark lines define the subject and the lighter lines fill in the blanks. The use of the white space finishes the scene and the feeling that your drawing extends to the viewer. I am ready for him to talk.

Your scratch is well thought out and skilfully executed. Apparently, you observed the bird throughout. Even as the pencil strokes simple as you say, the important parts of the face are shown. Most viewers will imagine what we do not see. The eye and the featherless area around are especial interesting. I believe to see the skin of the bird. The light reflection is just at the right spot. I am impressed by your attention to realistic detail. The sparse shading is perfect. The proportions and perspective view are flawless. The tight framing is appropriate.
