This goose seemes to smile. The feather in her beak looks cute. Apparently the bird enjoys the sun. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the reralism of color. The Goose is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

What I like the best about this photo is the simplicity, and the fine looking background. The feathers in the goose's beak adds interest, and the light is falling so lovely on the bird. It is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in every part of the goose, and the exposure is very good.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works so well, and the goose has got a fine placement off to the left. Indeed a lovely and well taken portrait of a Canada Goose Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

He is wondering where the owner of this bit of fluff has gone. Great head shot with soft background. The glint in his eye is mischievous and his concentration is keen. Sharp focus and great lighting makes for a very cool shot.
