Hi Pat! Hope all is well. What a beautiful moment in time you have captured in the seascape. It has incredible depth of field and the image is so sharp and full of action, I feel like I am standing at the edge of the shoreline as the waves recede back out. I like the way you chose to shoot this with the sun's reflection in the left most third of the composition instead of in the middle. It forces the eye to come in from the right with the waves, all the way to the back left corner to the sun. Spectacular shot, great composition.

Hi Pat! Hope all is well. What a beautiful moment in time you have captured in the seascape. Just shows that a basic shot of an ocean can be interesting,i have tried these type of shots,but feel they are not as good as this,my one point Pat is I would either try b/w or selective blue color just to see if it improves this...Brian

Great angle at which this photo was taken. The reflection of the sun in the water is prominent and looks great against that dark contrast of the rocks and sand at the bottom. The use of thirds also is apparent in the photo, as the sky, water, and the waves meeting the shore all are divided into about a third of the photo. The blue hues in varying chroma levels look great too, with just a touch of vividness on the top right.

All about opportunity. You see something and you are ready for it. I like this light on surf too. It shows the small ripples and tide lines as the sea surges and withdraws. Well times as all is clear showing details within movement. Good shot.
