These little furry guys are near and dear to my heart. When we were in Sidney, we went to the Sidney Zoo. Usually, the koalas are sleeping or if they are awake, the handler is holding him. There was no one there at that moment and she let me pat him and get up close and personal. One of the highlight of the two week trip. The pose and the lighting makes him almost come off the page. He is a delightful photographic subject. Beautiful shot.

The impression of the Koala is cute. The animal seems indeed as if looking at a plane and wishing to go home. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. The Koala is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A beautiful picture portrait of this Koala gazing heavenwards it's ears held back showing their fluffy inside & it's white bib. It's eyes fixed on something above it.
