I love the way you've captured all the details in the rose petals with its veins and little holes. I just noticed the little caterpillar eating it. Amazing detail! The colours are beautiful going from a rosy pink in the centre to the mauve on the outer petals. The green leaves are a great contrast to this beautiful old rose. Well done!

This is quite a stunner,I like the variation in hue from the center to the outer petals. It really stands out well against that vibrant green foliage. Nice sharp focus,i like the detailing seen in the petals,as well as the little caterpillar on the edge of one petal. This would have been a great entry for one of flower contests!

this is an old rose with much more petals than the modern hybrids;

This rose appears to have a lot of mass, moreso than I usually see with a rose. I like how the colors transition from those bluish pinks on the exterior edges to the more reddish hues closer to the center. These vivid colors are accentuated further by the green background, properly contrasted with some darker parts to help indicate depth.

I like the unusual "double" center, or whatever it's called. Beautiful colors in good lighting. Not sure the little worm and insects enhance the photo, but on the other hand that's reality for gardeners!

In Tamil language (my mother tongue) spoken in Tamil Nadu, the pink colour and the colour pink is called 'Roja' (J is not silent)This is a wonderful shot of the pink rose.. You have framed it well. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Thanks for sharing!

The old fashion roses still catch my attention. They are sturdy and have such rich colors. My sister has an old fashion climbing rose that is the deepest red. The strong focal point of the rose rises above the rich green foliage as if it where floating in water. Lovely view.
