Excellent painting! The sky is a beautiful blue. The butte has a lot of texture to it, and at the bottom, the grass is nice a level, allowing you to get a good look at it. Nicely done.

Beautiful artwork posted here....my initial impression was that it is a photo....the mountains are looking breathtaking...their texture has been nicely captured...the blue sky with scattered clouds is looking awesome...composition is very beautiful....the play of light and shadow is perfect....overall very impressive....

This is very beautiful,I remember seeing this when I was in Sedona years ago.Excellent use of light and shadow to bring out the details in this rocky formation. The brilliant blue sky with it's fluffy white clouds adds to the natural beauty. I bet your friend was very pleased with this lovely painting!

What a neat gift for your friend. I too have been to Sedona and have seen this formation. I probably have a shot of it. Mot much misses my camera. Your capture of the essences of this structure is amazing. The rich blue sky and the foreground scrub brush looks so natural. The use of some light on the cliffs helps show of the striations of the rock face. One of those western scenes that you wish the stage was still running with John Wayne driving the coach.

Except for that large and ( in my opinion ) distracting FanArtReview watermark cluttering up the main upload I think this is a fine looking painting!

What a beautiful scene ! Well created mountains with a good show of their texture, I like the grass covered ground leading to the mountain and the shrubs growing at the base, well created blue sky with realistic white cloud detail. Well created, arranged and presented!
