This is beautiful landscape photography. You have framed it well. The light, and the composition have worked well and you have placed the lighthouse very well in the pic!. Good effort!.

Really great picture! It is well balanced, good color scheme and has good depth and is balanced well. Excellent natural lighting. The blue sky really helps accent the scene and blue water helps create a distant horizon.

Awesome view capturing the various depths of this land area. I like how the bottom of the photo leaves room for the imagination to wonder how deep it goes and what else is down there to explore. From looking at this photo it's inspiring to want to visit a place like this. I like the overcast weather here too, gives it a more epic atmosphere.

Pat,
A beaitful view from the Sterling Highway in Ninilchik of the Lighthouse on the brow of the tree covered cliff with the Cook Inlet in the background with the blue sky reflected on it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

A pretty good looking landscape shot posted here! Your fine and classical composition has me wondering if was hard work building that lighthouse on the cliff? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

Lovely detail through the foreground, and like the hue of sky, though, quite a lot of it. It is soft and calm. And I like the tree and lighthouse, almost, but not quite, on the 'third' lines.
Slightly slightly wonky on the horizon Pat, down on the left, very unlike your photos ;) :)
On a personal note, so no stars deducted for it as it is what "i would do* - but I would definitely crop in closer, a little off the left, a little off the right to remove that black jarring section on ground level, and remove a lot of the sky - and really make the lone tree and lighthouse pop and star. But I am sure you have many versions. :)

Keep creating,
Ann, OpenroadFootprint

A fantastic scene that is shown in very fine detail. The light is excellent and the way the lighthouse is perched atop that bluff makes for a great composition.

What a view, I have always wanted to live in a lighthouse. That fact that they survive storms, it would be fun to ride out a hurricane or Artic storm. The POV is excellent and hazy sky highlights the lighthouse's white structure. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Gary! This has to be sturdy, it?s a very windy location there right above the inlet.
