Great minimalist shot! I love the simplicity of the one standing marker with the divided horizon. Really cool. The different textures of the ground and sky add great visual effect. Well done!

Now this is a unique shot for the contest Nik. I like the desolate look of the navigation marker looking stranded on the land. The placement of the marker on the far left of the frame is very effective and adds to the look of isolation.

Great work Nik and i wish you all the best in the contest ~ Steve

Hey Nikman!
This is a beautiful scene! I have to admit I have never scene one of these navigation markers. It is well presented as it stands stoically out in the sea. I really like the textures you have shown. Great shot!

This is a very unique and different kind of image for the contest. Not the typical sea photo one would expect.
I like the details in the rather textured and colored sea.

The silence and peacefulness are the feelings from this landscape photograph. The blue sky framing the navigation marker and it's reflections in the shallow water captured with nice details and colors.

I really like the simplicity of this photo, and the special atmosphere. The beige and blue hues are truly lovely, and I also like how well the navigation marker is reflected in the wet sand.

The marker is standing out sharp and well defined against the sky, and the exposure is spot on.

The format is perfect and with the marker off to the left, it is a very fine balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a wonderful shot of the scene with the navigation marker sticking out of the wet sand. . You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

Although i like this I do think it would have been much better had you got nearer to this,i think it would have made much more of it,and made it a stronger feature...Brian
