that is one steep climb but he seems to be determined. The lighting is in your favor as the background is dark. The action of his wings beating the eater and his feet grappling with the rock's surface gives movement to the shot. The massive effort has us rooting for his climb to be successful.

good action capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this bird hopping out the water to bank is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A nice action shot that shows his wings quite well. I like the sharp eye and the splashing water but might well have cropped off some of that hill on the left.

Beautiful photo....the grey heron is captured beautifully in motion...I like the spread out wings...the orange beak is very appealing....composition is very good...the orange colour leaves/flowers on the land are adding colour to the photo....clarity is superb.... thanks for sharing
