I went to a friend's for dinner last evening and when I got home around 9 it was quite dark and there were 4 deer sleeping in my yard. They made me think of you. A very nice shot that is well composed and shown in very fine detail.

Many thanks, obviously the deer feel safe at your place, too!

Whoa! This would be a epic battle if the larger buck decided to exert his size and experience. What a great capture (camera that is). The construction is perfect to tell the story of the narrative. Lighting and color and focus are terrific. The POV is so good that I feel like I could reach in and touch them.

I really appreciate your wonderful review,Bullseye is definitely the dominant of the two,I have seen him approach Niner in an attempt to spar, but Niner will immediately walk away from him!

Fantastic photo.... composition is very good...your caption makes it seem real... focus and clarity is superb...I must say that even while it n confrontation mode they look very innocent and mild...the green and yellow background is going well with the bucks....thanks for sharing

Lee Ann,
A beautiful picture of Bullseye & Niner eyeing each other up over the pile of Corn you have laid out for them, the velvet shreds hanging from their antlers, The Golden Rod in flower making a beautiful background for them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

How close were you to this showdown? They are both awesome creatures. They look to be close to the same age. The photo is gorgeous! I love the yellow golden rod? in the grass behind them. Golden rod makes me sneeze like crazy. Excellent capture.

It looks as if they might be getting ready to 'have at it',doesn't it?
It's another interesting photograph showing us an example of 'Nature in Action'!
Cool,LeeAnn!

Yeah,I had to start putting out a second pile of corn since Bullseye is such a pig!

A very good looking nature shot posted here! Yes, equal sharing often does not go down well in the animal world. Your fine and appropriate composition seems to suggest that a confrontation is about to take place? Nicely taken!

I thought so much of him. Bullseye always know how to get his way in the past and it seems as if he will get it again. The photo is perfect focused and exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The deer are well placed within the frame. The mixed media is excellently composed.
