This B&W photograph (with a touch of colour) touches a chord in me. Photography is a very powerful medium and a very difficult craft. Excellent photos don't only display some facts -- they tell stories. Very impressive post. Bravo!

Thanks a lot Brian. You are the first one to note the boat on the right. The fun part was trying to catch the moving boat and a crashing wave at the same time. I really appreciate your review and grand rating Brian ~ Steve

So very cool Top and I'm out of 6's. Bummer! I love the rays that you brought out in this capture. The touch of blue is an eye catcher to the viewer. The overall view has a strong initial impact on the viewers eye. The clarity is excellent. The angle of the shot of water and the sunrise behind the hill is excellent. The capture of the light is excellent. The image is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and awesome work overall (clapping).

A beautiful picture of the man in silhouette on the rocks above the sea that is crashing onto the shore in the foreground, your fast exposure freezing the spray thrown up .the sun's rays radiating through the gaps in the clouds glowing through them, the reflected on the glistening sea in the foreground. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Very impressive mixed media rendition of a photo image with immense meaning behind it. Did you write the poem Steve? An honest prayer which I think most humans would feel at different times in their life.
Love the rays of light signifying hope and God's response falling on the added silhouetted figure.
I am not so keen on the blue added to the water, but get the meaning behind the colour. Well done my friend!

Thank you for your review Chris. Actually I am not too keen on the blue either. I'm going to change it to all B&W. Thank you for your constructive review ~ Steve

Thank you so much for your spot on review Chris. I think that you are right about the blue. I'm going to change that. Yes I wrote the poem. Thank you again Chris ~ Steve

I like how you accented the water at the front with that cerulean blue. The black and white colors enhance the mood of the photo, especially with the contrasted silhouette. I think it's really cool how the light beams point towards the small figure in the middle, and how profound of an effect it has on the rest of the photo, despite his small size in comparison. The poem and the photo go hand in hand.

A very good looking evening image posted here! Your fine 50/50 composition grants us a good view of someone who seems to be in deep contemplation over something. Like the sunlight rays and the wave. Nicely created!

amazing photo and beautiful special effects...the composition is brilliant...the man sitting alone on hill is looking very thoughtful...the black and white colours are enhancing the appeal of the photo...with splash of blue colour at front adds just the right amount of colour to the photo....thanks for sharing...

A very nicely constructed image. The radiating light surrounds the person on the rocks very well and I like the blue waves breaking on the shore.

Bing in a flaming hurry I won't be giving this the thought it deserves, but it it is in all respects a spectacular post! The small figure on the rock is so clear and well posed, and the prose very special!
