Your mixed media creation is the perfect illustration for your poem. Apparently, the dark silhouettes symbolize the questions and doubts all of us have sometime. The rays of light and their silver reflections are Gods answer. The blue waves our hope and faith. Your mixed media is perfectly composed and framed. The composition is balanced

Wow....If I were to comment on your beautiful poem I'd say He's telling you stop thinking so much...follow your heart.. ..and stop being so hard on yourself...I'd say He's always with you but knows you are human too, and he's going to love you no matter what you do...He is love...There is no other explanation .....
He made you in his image and you are a part of him, he is part of you.. He shows you this by his light and you subconsciously put it in your mixed media... so while you think you are lost...He carries you...guides you...you just need to look ahead through
eyes that follow their heart and know he is always with you...faith perhaps...Because your heart will lead you to the joy you seek to find...what your soul yearns for...all he asks is you love him too....
That IS the only truth...it is a law...it is energy...so I think those who know this.....Well they see their world reflect it back to them......Just look around you......
Wow.......How's that for my thoughts FS? See what your images do! Not only is this a
thought inducing work of art it also is wonderful with your choice of blue selective color and outstanding silhouette.
Personally this really is inspirational...I think everyone feels this way from time to time, but its important not to dwell on it...trust...hope! There is always a beautiful tomorrow!
Oh..Yes, this art is Brilliant! I love it! Really enjoyed this one...
And BTW...I see my hypothesis already coming true...Gosh I hate being right

This is a message everyone needs to hear. Touching lines to help us refocus lives. The poem and the photo is a touching tribute to mankind. The sunburst alerts us to the coming of new day filled with new opportunities and hope. The thoughtful position of the figure brings home the words of encouragement that just as we are perfect just as we are. The The rolling waves washes away the past trouble and gives us a new page.

This is an amazing portrayal of black and white alongside color in a piece of work. I am speechless. I only wish to achieve a smidgen of your ability. Thank you for your post.

Thank you very much Ginger for your review and comments. It is customary that when rating a photo or artwork less than a five that it helps the artist if you note ways the photo can be improved. If it cannot be improved that is great. Thank you again Ginger for your review ~ iPhone7

This photo indeed has a strong visual impact Steve, and I especially like the rays of light around the person in thought. I really like that you changed the photo to black and white, but not the blues you have added to the wave. For me this ruins the photo, because it is actually very distracting. Even when you wish to study the whole photo in detail, your eyes are just drawn to this area.

The photo is sharp and the silhouetted person is standing out well defined against the sky. I also think the exposure is fine with the high lights in the waves.

The format and framing is fine, and the person is well placed within the frame. It is a lovely photo with a fine DOF, but personally I would have removed the blue color.

I SO appreciate your review and very insightful commentary. You are exactly right. I do agree with you and your assessment. You have my Highest Admiration as a photographer and as a person.

Because of that I will show you what is behind this photo and why it appears as it is. And I hope you will understand that this is in no way a justification for the photo.

Here are my thoughts behind this photo:

Hello Lord, we need to talk
I have so much to say
It's about my journey and my walk
I think I've lost my way

There's times I feel so deeply sad
    I do not understand
Sometimes I think I'm not so bad
    But on the other hand

There's not much color in my life
    It's mostly black and white
It seems to be so full of strife
I just don't see the light

Sometimes I wonder if You're there
    You seem so far away
I wonder if You really care
I have no more to say

And then He said in words so clear
That pierced my heart and soul
I need you as you are right here
In you I'll reach My goal

I called you forth to be My sign
To all of those I call
To give Myself and all that's Mine
Through you I'll give My all

And so you see by dearest one
    You're perfect as you are
Your journey for Me has just begun
And I will take you far

Wow, Steve, you hit the jackpot with post processing creativity here. Love the silhouetted figure placement and the overall sky and sea lighting. Great composition too. I am a fan of selective color, but I feel here it does not work well and distracts from the excellence and theme of the rest of the piece. But that is my subjective opinion so not lessening of the rating. Ed.

Thanks a lot Ed. Yes I struggled with making the whole thing B&W or having the color of the wave. I agree it distracts and to some extent detracts from the image. I don't know Ed. Some like it, some don't. I think I will leave it as is. It does look really cool in total B&W though. Thanks again for your honest and constructive review Ed. I truly appreciate that my friend ~ Steve

Hey there Steve!
This is quite an amazing photo. The light rays are great as well as that blue water in the foreground. The person alone in thought stands out to the viewer really well. Thanks for the share!
