The leaves are definitely brilliant and eye catching and I like the overall shape of this little tree. From the looks of the leaves I take it that this is a Japanese Maple? A very well taken photo that is perfect for this contest,I wish you all the best!

What a nice colorful display of this beautiful autumn tree. I like the fence and rock circle at the base of the tree as well as the green grass/ foliage in the background. I love this time of year and you have shown it really well, good luck!
