Your style always gives flowers a Graceful and elegant look to them. This is beautiful and I like the zoom effects in the background.
Great focus, superb use of light, great clarity and fine mix media work.
Lovely work Cara ;)

A very beautiful picture of this pink Waterlily Dahlia bathed in dappled sunlight with three buds one half open the others tighly closed, glowing out from it's blurred grey green background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Simply beautiful! I like this work because it is so classical in its concept and execution and in its atmosphere; The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Wow, Annie this is a stunning beauty! Is it a dinner plate dahlia? They tend to get very large, more so than the normal blooms. Regardless, the mixed media and details are gorgeous. This is an incredible image. Perfect!

That's my youngest granddaughters name as well. Wink. Cool colorful capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this colorful flower is awesome. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

All I can say is Wow! This is 11 inches across? That is the size of a large Sunflower. I am sure that this is something to see in person and a beautiful stand out in your garden.
I think you did a wonderful job with after photo. I very much like the oil painting look. Very nicely done Annie ~ Steve

Your creation is attractive. The use of light is superb. Your photo is perfectly focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color. I like that you included an opening bud. The single petal sticking out from the bud is appealing. The effects in the background are lovely, but unobtrusive. The Dahlia is excellently placed within the frame. The mixed media is perfect composed and framed.

I have to learn some of these post production effects. You have created another outstanding works of art photo. The light streaks and the muted background gives the bloom a magnificent canvas to display your creation The shade and shadows across the dahlia gives it a wonderful depth. The additional buds have promise of future beauty for the viewer. Gorgeous photo.
