A fascinating graphic arts piece, Daphne, inspired by that lovely little feather which you have photographed perfectly for its inclusion in this Imaginative creation. The background is inspired and perfect. Excellent!

Thank you so much for your appreciation! What a tiny brown and grey feather -- and in Bodega bay... it seemed kind of eerie....

that is a brilliant find and me and my family recently watched the (classic) birds. your picture is fab, as it really puts the scale to the objects. excellent concept, notion and the execution of an idea. a natural feather, coupled with an iconic, american coin. your digital backdrop is a very strong feature.

Thank you so much for your very kind praise! In view of the fact it is not a down feather but a top feather, the feather was so small I can't even imagine what kind of sea bird it could have come off of. I looked and looked over the birds and could not even imaging it came off a baby bird even though it must have. It just looked too much like a well worn father! Lol, a mystery feather!

This is a very well constructed still life. The colours are working together. That background is perfect with the delightful feather. The coin brings in dimension. Feathers are beautiful in many ways and remarkable for flight, warmth, keeping cool and waterproof. Nature's designs can't be sacked. I collect them and use for effects in my painting especially for marbling.

A nice find and a very nice creation presented here! Your arrangement of the two is attractive. I also like the background and framing. Well done!
