You have captured that calmness you describe I can feel it through that glorious glow. What a beautiful mixture of shades of one colour. You have a knack for capturing fine scenes and atmosphere. This has it all. That light disappearing on the horizon, the tiny reflections in the water, all together bathed in a surreal glow gives a special enjoyment to this scene when reviewing.

Every time I see one of your photos, I think that you must live in heaven. The 24 years I spent fishing in Canada each August was some of the best times of my life. Fishing for walleye and Northern pike for 12 hours a day was amazing. The soft light of the sunset and the afterglow reflecting on the water give this a very romantic feel. The soft mauve colors and the golden setting sun backlighting the distant trees finishes the scene perfectly.
