You captured the fly perfectly. I am impressed by the sharpness of the fly. Even all those spiky hairs on the back are sharp. The transparent wings are especial interesting. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. Colors and light are realistic. The fly is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

What a nice macro of this Green Bottle Fly (at least that is what I think it is).
Very nice work capturing the iridescence of the colors. I especially applaud your capture using a cell phone. As an iPhone is all I use I am impressed with this image.

I phone peeps ask me all the time which cell I have because the camera is great. All my Samsung have had excellent cameras. 🙂

The DOF is perfect and filling the scene with the spikes of the bloom created a wonderful background. The colors are bright and crisp. Wonderful scene and good luck in the contest.
