Thanks very much for taking the time to give me such a positive review. I truly appreciate it. However, I made a little mistake. This is a Zinnia not a Purple Coneflower. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I have to correct myself though, this is a pink Zinnia, not a Purple Coneflower. I love it just the same. Thanks again.

Thanks Sean! I have to correct myself. This is a Zinnia, not a Purple Coneflower. But spectacular nonetheless. Hope all is well with you. Aimee

What a beautiful angle and perspective on this coneflower. It is very unique and seldom seen from this point of view. Truly artistic, and soft. I think the pretty rose tone of the bloom is one of my favorite colors to see this flower in also. Very appealing and eye-catching.
Best wishes in the contest.

I have a lot of Cone flowers in my garden, but they never get these small yellow blossoms on the top, so I wonder if this perhaps is a Zinnia. It is anyway really well captured, and the light is falling on it in such a lovely way. It is also standing out from the nicely softened background in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the flower, and the exposure is very good.
I also like the tight cropping and the placement of the flower within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Aimee, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

OMG Annie, you are sooooo right. I don't know what I was thinking about, Purple Coneflowers obviously. We used to have them in our gardens at our previous residence up in New England, but since moving to Florida several years ago, the Zinnia's are my first attempt at growing here in the south. Thank you so much for your wonderful review and catching my mistake. Very much appreciated. Aimee

I love cone flowers and would love to grow them in my yard!
Your angle of shot allows a good look at the shape and structure of this flower,
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. It's such a pretty shade of pink and I like that yellow on top. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

This is such a beautiful shot! I love the angle you shot it at. Seeing part of the underside details Of the petals is really cool. The petals look like a skirt. Fantastic colors are vivid and sharp. Well done!

An interesting perspective and a well cropped image. I might have moved that green leaf that arches over the flower when I shot it though. Very nice detail and fine colors. Good luck in the contest.
