I have never been to Japan, though I tried to turn the tide of hatred a bit when at school. The film Bridge on the River Kwai came out and we had strong demonstrations of hatred, so I started a penfriend group at school, but only with German, Italian and Japanese kids. One nasty piece of work made comments about foreigners like me:- I told her, they are more like you than I could ever be. I intended the kids to learn that they are also just kids like themselves. Anyway, I have never been to Japan, but I did teach in China and there they have plum blossom festivals, rather like this!

I never been there before but have lived and worked with every race and nationality you have just mentioned..you maybe live around ancient ground there.. however truly I live in a largest melting pot of the world. We aren't perfect but at least we as a society try to respect life. That cannot be said elsewhere in the world as you well know.. wink..thanks for the great review.

It appears that this picture was a big hit! It is a departure from the norm for you. I really like this one too. The bright colors mix well together. Great attention to detail like the way the mountain is reflected in the water.

well not really when i do draw everything..it just took the "Funnie Flowers" for folks to notice me but i have tons of this style drawings. tell ya what..if you got the time search me on Youtube.com(mkflood) and look for the titles "Don't Stop Believing" and " Rocking with Sharpie/Bic"..those 2 are small examples of what i draw..wink..thanks for the great review.

Let's see she is Halloween...my oldest grandson is on Thanksgiving...my youngest grandaughter is on Christmas Eve...my 2nd youngest grandson is on Valentine's day..mine is the 1st day of hurricane season..the rest of them have normal day's..lol. thanks for the awesome review
