Can definitely see the spray as this goose prepare to take off,as well as the rippling in the water surrounding it. The Canada in the corner adds additional interest and balances out your photo. the overall photo has a hazy appearance, maybe from a slight overexposure or sun glare, perhaps you can edit it in your photo editor.

The white goose taking of from the Mallard duckling is well captured with the droplets surrounding it. Nice composition and overall presentation.

A fine shot that could use a bit more contrast in my opinion. The composition is very good and the geese are attractive, just a bit on the "muddy" side.

Surprisingly the other guy has become a mute spectator! Your lake appears to be a place of action. You have shot the scene well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

so you know that i love love love your photos. It seems a bit hazed or grainy and not as clear as i would have liked. I like the droplets of water suspended in all directions.

Fred,
A beautiful stop action picture of the White Domestic Goose taking off from the lake with the sunlight glowing through the flight feathers of it's wings & the spray thrown up by the goose's movements in the distance the alien Canada Goose swims by. The sunlight dancing on the lake's surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Well! The scene is great, you captured movement and action story. The goose is a good size, and the water splashes and circles well captured.... my problem is the colour, it looks washed out. I tried on different devices but it seems duller than your other pieces. The overall scene is balanced and interesting. Can something be done to lift the colour I wonder?

If you have Photoshop express, it's free to download. Edit this in this software. The pic comes up and you have many choices. The second picture to normal corrects the fadedness. Try it.

Sorry Fred, But I really think this one is a little dark and not as focused as some of your other better images. Although the white swan is very beautuful, it doesn't show up very well on my screen, hence the 4.5 stars.

A pretty good nature shot posted here! Your fine and off-centre composition captures an enjoyable take-off moment. Like the splashes and ripples. Sharpness is OK, but the image is too dark for my tastes. Otherwise, nice try!
