I especially like the lovely purple colors in this painting, and also that the tree and the foreground are done as silhouettes. The white sailing boat offers a nice contrast.

When it comes to the composition, I think the tree could have been placed further to the left, but keeping the sun in the same position. I think the balance would be better.

Still this is an all together lovely and well done digital creation, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thanks Annie for your suggestion. I to would like the tree a bit further to the left. Funny how simple changes can be made to photographs in post processing. With painting one is more or less stuck. Thanks again for helping me out!

Very cool digital artwork here Allan. I like the overall purple pastel color. It gives a soothing look and feel.

The tree is nicely placed just off center and balanced by the white sail boat on the right. Good details in the tree branches.
