Probably there is some food. Most public trashcans contain eatable leftovers. The photo is well focused and exposed. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. Light and colors are realistic and textures are refined. The bird is well placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

This shot took quick action. It's a siimple composition with a direct message. There is nothing extra here and allows the viewer an obvious interpretation. Interesting.

Great composition and shading on the road with the crane searching for a snack in a fancy garbage can. Natural colors and overall good presentation.

They always seeem to be looking for something to eat, a great vertical presentation of your curious crow looking for a nice tasty morsel of food. Where I used to work,we had a pair that would go dumpster diving every morning and rarely gave you a glance as you walked by. A nice capture showing how this crow has learned this may contain food scraps.

I can understand a raccoon or possum raiding a trash can for food but a crow? I thought they were too smart for that. LOL. A very nice shot though.

A wonderful shot of what we see in our daily livesbut do not takenote of. One can spin astory on this. The light, and the composition have worked well and you have caught the scavenging crow very well. Good effort!.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of this Jackdaw ~ Corvus mondedula perched on a refuse bin in the Park looking to see if some "Food" tasty to Crows has been thrown in there. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Quite a good and common nature shot posted here! Your fine and classical composition provides us with a good look at the bin scene before you. Wonder if the crow got any food there? Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!
