A beautiful vista and a great shot. I like the detail in the geological forms and their great colors. A well composed shot from a fine vantage point.

another very beautiful view of the Bryce Canyon with amazing background; as I already indicated, it is the most beautiful area I've visited in the U.S.

Nik,
A beautiful & dramatic picture looking over Bryce Canyon showing the slopes & Hoodoos created over eon's & eon's of time by the action of water, frost , wind & erosion on the rocks that form the the canyon. Dramatic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. It looks dramatic even at 30'000 feet above it from s plane's window.

Your kind and detailed review is appreciated! I do though need to point out that this photo was not taken from an aeroplane, but during a walk along an edge trail.

    Nik,
I know that...There are no passing clouds to hide some of the view.
I had an argument with the man sitting beside me as we flew over Bryce Canyon..I wanted to see the Canyon.. He wanted to watch the Film!

This is a wonderful shot of nature. The picture is sharp and has terrific depth! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!
