Very nice photograph of the White Mountains. I like the clouds hanging over the mountain. Seeing snow and the pretty colors of fall is amazing. Good focus and lighting. Sharp detail. Well composed. Nicely done. Good luck in the photo contest.

The contradiction of the barren mountains the still green trees in on the hills and the autumn foliage in the foreground is striking. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The mixed media changes are expertly made. The landscape is perfect composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Hi Cleo, It was a pretty cloudy day when I took this shot. On a day like this the clouds are low and often spill over the mountain tops. If it's really bad any hope of seeing a scenic view disappears and all you see is a wall of clouds. I was lucky on this day. Thanks for the wonderful review, it means a lot coming from you! This is a beautiful scene , it combines two seasons , it reminds me of alaska ! Nice mist above the mountains, I dusting of snow on the peaks. This is well photographed to show the layers , I especially love the autumn foliage and the blue tones in the mountains with the green pines in between. Effective mixed media, it's a beautiful scene!

This is a beautiful scene , it combines two seasons , it reminds me of alaska ! Nice mist above the mountains, I dusting of snow on the peaks. This is well photographed to show the layers , I especially love the autumn foliage and the blue tones in the mountains with the green pines in between. Effective mixed media, it's a beautiful scene!
