I have never seen a mushroom this colour, I here though that if its beautiful it can be very poisionous, love the ring on the stem, its even coloured, what a nice specimen

I really wonder what kind of mushroom this is, but it is indeed colorful. I bet it would not be smart to eat it though. The green grass offers a perfect background, and the mushroom is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the mushroom. You have also brought out so well the fine textures, and the exposure is spot on.
The format is perfect, and the mushroom has got a fine placement off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

It looks a bit like an Amanita muscaria, but for that bright colored stem. A nicely composed image with crisp details and beautiful colors.
