A beautiful bird in exceptional light. I like the low shooting angle and the way those sharp features show up against that dark water in the background.

Pat this is a beautiful photo of the shore bird. Amazing detail. I feel like you literally had to lay on your belly to catch this vantage point.

The bird seems to enjoy the last light of the descending sun. The light amplifies the bird superbly. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color. The light reflection in the dark eye is especial intriguing. The bird is perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

What a nice photograph of this bird sitting on the shore all alone. The dark background and his matching color eyes are mankind this a really pleasant presentation.

Shorebirds are such a favorite of mine, Pat, and this one is just so charming. It really stands out nicely against the darker sunset lighting that allows the seashore to compliment its colors so well. Perfectly composed with excellent clarity and detail too. Very well done. Ed.

A very good looking nature shot posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of your handsome bird. Why "lesser'? Seems to me it has long yellow legs!? Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

A beautiful capture of the little shorebird Pat. The darkened background enhances the pattern and color of the bird. Your focus is sharp on the eye and the yellow legs pop out nicely.
