I know how hard it is to spot a Moose. Great, you got lucky!
Nice perspective with the Moose wading into the water. The reflections adds to this photo and the Moose stands out against the background of trees.

Lucky you,I would love to see this guy at my pond! They are such impressive creatures, and you were fortunate to see him and get a photo. Focus is a bit soft, but sometimes that can't be helped, especially when getting closer isn't a viable option,as in this case. Still a nice shot and l wish you all the best in the contest!

This is such a lovely and tranquil scene with a Bull Moose drinking, and I especially like the fine reflections you have captured in the shiny water. The animal is also standing out really well from the background.

I think the photo could have been even sharper, but it is still clear and well defined details to be seen in the Moose. The exposure is perfect, and the colors so nice and natural. My suggestion is to sharpen the photo a bit.

The format and framing is fine, and the Moose has got a fine placement off to the right. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I love the bull moose! They are majestic creatures for sure.
The moose is well placed within this scene. Focus is a bit soft making it difficult to appreciate the details of the moose. This distant view minimizes the size of the moose . I understand that you shot this from a safe spot . I hope that you will get another opportunity to photograph a moose again. I appreciate your effort.

thanks, yes you dont get to see these guys too often, there are some white albino ones that hang around further north and east from this and they are protected. Every fall there are some photos taken, I may have to take a trip one day to see if I could get one of those

This is fine wildlife photography. The light and the composition have worked well and you have caught the thirsty Bullmoose very well. Good effort.

A beautiful & interesting picture of Bull Moose standing in the shallows on the far side of the lake drinking from the lake on which it's reflection is seen on the glistening surface. The reeds, rushes, bushes & trees on the far shore creating a beautiful backdrop. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Nicely composed image of the Bull Moose as he drinks from the river. Unfortunately he is very blurred on my screen - possibly just a little outside the range of your lens to get sharp. Color appears very natural.

This is an excellent shot. We know that those animals are dangerous when aggravated. It was smart of you not to close in on him. Even from far away we see how mighty the animal is. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The reflections are intriguing. The panorama framing is adequate. The animal is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

thank you so much, yes he did not want us closer as he walked away as we approached him, this time of year I did not think he would have charged us, but when rutting season comes, boy watch it

A very nice scene that is well composed. I like the the way the moose is knee deep in the water and the bit of a reflection that gives you. The flat light gives you nice colors. Best wishes in the contest.

Hey there!
This is a really nice photo of this Young Bull (looks young anyway haha) drinking at the waters edge. The contrasts are nice and the calm water is inviting. Thanks for sharing and good luck!
