I really like how you interpreted this. It is possible but unreal perfect surreal. I like the composition with the headland. The amazing colours and particularly the cloud formation.

The colors in that cloud formation are gorgeous with a lovely color reflection in the water. I like the silhouetted shoreline framing the water and the pale blue of the untouched sky. A simply stunning image for the contest,l wish you all the best!

It's an interesting and enjoyable colorful take on a 'Sunset Scene' painting,my friend!
It leads my Dark imagination to think of what the aftermath of a Thermonuclear detonation staged on a test site ( or an unfortunate 'enemy' country ) might look like!
