Great work, Sir. Your description about this animal is very informative. And the care you took to include all those descriptive detail in your art is a source of inspiration for me. I especially like details in tail, shadow on ground, and texture in background you used to create plains.

Nice drawing. I like the background a lot, the colors are nice and the fir/body are great. However, the lower rating was because the head/face doesn't look like a fox to me.

The head is realistic. The Gray Fox does not resemble other animals in the Fox-family. For confirmation ckeck at Wikipedia the online enceclopedy. Seearch: Urocyon cinereoazrgentus, Red Fox. :o)

You are right about the sideview of the head. Although it was hard to find a picture of a side view of the head, the one I found looks like your drawing. However, all the side view pictures had a more distinctive black line on the tail. Still of nice drawing/painting.

This picture really reflects wildlife. The Fox gracefully observe surrounding. Colours picked very laconic. Light neutral background successfully emphasizes main figure. Great job!

I don't know if we have very many fox in Kentucky. At least, not in this area. This is beautifully painted. I like the attention to detail. The pastel background was a good choice as it makes the fox show up so nicely. You are truly talented. Good luck in the contest.
