There are several morning glories in a little park I sometimes go to, but they have long since died off. This one is very nice and looks great against that fall oak.

This is quite an unusual photo, because the Morning Glories should have been finished by now. The fall colors are however a great looking background for the blue flower. I was reading your notes, and my guess is that you will find that everything is more normal next year.
The flower is standing out so sharp and well defined against the vibrant background, and it is clear details to be seen. Also the exposure is spot on.
The format is perfect, and the Morning Glory blossom has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well take photo, and with an excellent DOF.
