the bird would sound like Tom Jones and down below with will be the screaming females birds watching..yeah i can see a cartoon from that one..wink. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this black bird singing is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A nice capture of this male redwing as it calls from atop it's cattail podium. Mine have all left for the year. Excellent focus and lighting, good eye clarity. I like the out of focused branches in the background as they create an interesting abstract pattern. A great entry for the contest,I wish you all the best!

Jirina,
A beautiful picture of this male Redwing Blackbird beak open voicing his opinion from his perch on a dead branch, wings held away from his body & his tail up. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A nicely composed shot of this redwing blackbird. The setting is very nice and the cat tail is their favorite perch, but it is a stretch to call their screech a song. Best of luck in the contest.

A pretty good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of your handsome singing bird. Pity we cannot hear it's beautiful tune! Well done!

I hear almost the song of this bird. Its wide open beak seems to carry the song into my mind. Your photo well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color. The yellow and red markings of the wings are especial interesting because they show us that this is a Red-winged Blackbird. The bird stands well lout from the unobtrusive background. The photo is well composed. The Blackbirds is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced

I really like that this bird was singing when the photo was taken, and also how well you have captured its shiny eye. You have brought out so well the fine shine in the black feathers, and the bird is standing out from the softened background in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
The format you have cropped the photo into works so well, and the bird has got a fine placement off to the right. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Jirina, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

The call of the Red-Winged Black Bird is delightfully Haunting and Mysterious, isn't it?
Your photograph of this handsome male specimen giving voice as he perches on an old and weathered 'cat tail' looks wonderful,Jirina!

Nice timing to capture the red winged blackbird with open beak to show he is singing.
The bird is nicely placed within the frame. Well defined feathers, face and beak, nice clear eye,
Well focused , his image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. Nice pose to allow a good look at the red and yellow patches. Well composed against the muted background. Well presented!
