Another great digital rendering of this beauty. I love the perch of the palms he's resting on as well as the great movement of the soft blends of greens surrounding him in the upper framing. Beautiful tonal palette you were working with, great light, textures and overall compositional appeal.

Yes, this is a member of the Jay family. This is a tropical species which lives in the jungles of Central America.

Lovely digital painting, Cleo, showing this beautiful bird amongst the foliage. Love the colours you used for this and the brush strokes in the foliage. I like the foreground leaf which takes the viewer into the image. Great use of colour, light and shade. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Nice job on your painting. At first glance I couldn't tell if it was a photograph or a painting. Either way you have a really nice background and your bird and palm look real to me.

Wow I feel this Jay is so real I could almost stroke him. It's a fine composition in digital art. It is balanced and well framed. The construction is appealing. The colour pallet looks natural but also vibrant. The fine detailed perch against the smudged background is specially appealing. Over all a very nice piece of art.

I love this picture. What stands out the most are the vibrant colors. They all work together famously to produce a perfect picture. I can feel the regality of this bird.
