It is always a treat for me to learn about a new bird. I like this profile view and the nice detail in the eye as well as the feathers. An attractive composition with fine colors.

Jay bird is very pretty. I love the colors and little details in the wing and tail. Palm leaf is great that the Jay is on. Thanks for sharing.

Your work is well done with great clarity and realistic soft colors. The Jay has beautiful feathers and he is highlighted well. I especially like the details of the branches in the foreground. Thanks for sharing this pretty work!

Another fine digital rendering of the colourful bird! Nice to see it in its natural surroundings. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Thanks for sharing!

Another beautifully executed work of digital art Cleo. The contrasting colors of green, black and blues really catches the eye. The painted look gives a calm look and feel for this bird.

I am in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico right now and I am going to see if this Jay is found here. I have not seen one yet.

Great work as always Cleo ~ Steve

Having been in Hinduras many times over the past 20 years, I am sure I may have seen one of these birds. We have spent a great deal of time in the mountains and forest of Honduras. The clean lines and sturdy build makes he a good candidate to survive the wilds of Central America. The bright greens remind me of the lush vegetation after the rainy season. Right now they don;t need any more rain for a while. The site our Rotary is going to build a new school has to be repaired before we can start building. So, glad we didn't build it last spring.
