Very nice artwork....beautiful and balanced composition...the choice and blending of colours is very good...the eyes travel along the bridge...the houses at the back are giving depth to the painting.. the waves in water are nicely done....good luck for the contest

This is so cool that you did this from real life. The watercolor is very nicely done. I love the way you painted the walkway. The leading line draws your eye right through the center. Cool piece.

Excellent work. Love the freshness of your textures through bold brush strokes through your entire painting. There's a nice sense of freedom and ease in your painting that's pleasant to view, bringing comfort to mind wanting to take part in the islands activities for fun and enjoyment. Very pretty colors with a emphasis in cool colors of the waters and sky. Very nice painting. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice scene with the footbridge leading us over the flowing water and to the village .well created village structures, I love the red roofs. Very well shown sky with realistic clouds moving ver the blue, I like the water and the way the motion is shown with the white over the blue/ green tones. Well arranged and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

This tide looks very high. It looks as if the water almost reaches the bridge and parts of the shore are flooded. Your painting is well composed. It is intriguing how the bridge leads our eyes over the water and into the village at the opposite shore. The colors are appealing. The painting is well framed. The composition is balanced.

Yes the water did reach and overlap in parts the broadwalk is a bit rickety and is patch repaired. High tides like that don't help ... thank you for your time and a good review. Much appreciated

Quite a dramatic looking image posted here! Your fine and central composition offers us a good view of that high tide flood. Hope not too much damage was caused? Well painted and good luck!

looks like the tide warped the pier..lol..dont worry the title would tell someone with common sense that this could happen. i really do like this colorful creation. the depth is great. the details is great. the shading is great. the blend of the colors is great. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative and great job overall.

Thank you. Yes the broadwalk is very warped here and there and is patch repaired but its withstood a lot over the years. Also I had to laugh, as you know my artwork is not photorealistic, a bit of cartoon often creeps in to mostly impressionism. Sadly lots don't see that aspect or understand it.
