lovely drawing. I always like your drawings. They invariably have something so innocent about them, yet so very Indian. In this case her eyebrows and coiffure could be Chinese or Indian. I often wonder what sort of relationship these two great nations would have built up, if the British Empire had not soured it, as well as the Japanese, whome the Empire refused to modernise incase they became competitors, thereby not permitting them rubber from the Indo -China plantations, which eventually led to war, so they could buy as much as they wanted. Most of what happened world wide over the last few hundred years is directly attributable to the British Empire. My dad hated it, but he hated all Empires world wide, but after study, I began to realise why.

You are very right. You seem to have deep knowledge of modern day history. China has now become an expansionist nation indirectly killing millions without a bullet being fired. Well, that is another story. Thanks so very much for your time and the fine review! I really appreciate it!

A great entry for the contest. The black and white gives this a bold and dramatic look. The symmetry is amazing. I am guessing that you have to use a ruler to get the lines exactly right.

Great details and subject for the contest. I wish you all the best in the judging ~ Steve
