Wow. What a dramatic moment you have captured here Nik. This guy definitely seems to have an issue with something.
The focus is nice and sharp and the details are great.
A great out of the ordinary submission for the contest. This one should Definitely catch the attention of the voters. Way to go Nik ~ Steve

You can almost feel the angry energy of the Otter.
The clarity and details of the face and fur are good.
The background color of green with the slight blur add to the photo.

Like your good comments! If I remember correctly there was a big territorial dispute between the otters there.

Otters are such interesting creatures, good timing to capture this river otter with its mouth opened to reveal its sharp teeth. Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is good, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!

good portrait of this otter and you had to be quick to get this expression,because I feel it needs a bit more room in front of it,but think because you had to be quick in capturing this then that would explain why you did not do that,good dof as well...Brian
