This is a beautiful digital rendering of the bird! The light and shadows, colours and composition have worked out well. Good effort!

this is indeed such a lovely species and a wonderful yellow beak, which is also reflected in the lush trees in the background. the stokes are really well applied and textured. hopefully all of the wildlife and beautiful birds continue to flourish.

This is another well created bird, it makes me wonder how many different types of Jay birds there are, Im certain there are many! This one is interesting with its black body and the pretty blue wings, the bright yellow beak and feet are really standing out from the black and blue. Well shaped with good structure , this bird is proportionate. I like it's position within this scene and the way you have posed it on the Branch. It is standing out very well from the lively green background. Your notes are interesting, informative and appreciated. Well arranged and presented!

Great painting of this unique Yucatan Jay from the tropical region that is so nicely painted background with vivid green, tropical colors. Cleo, wonderful painting with the details of the bird that are so beautiful to view.

wow! This Yucatan jay looks amazing in your painting. I love how you chose natural green colors to match the environment around the bird then made the bird with details with the bold black color you have chosen. In this painting you can really focus on the bird and it makes me interested to learn more about this bird with the description you have written. Amazing job!

I can't give you another 6 on this one. It just wouldn't be fair, although, I think I like this one more than the other. I like being able to see the front of the bird. The background is just as beautiful.

A very good looking nature painting posted here! Your fine and slightly off-centre composition offers us an enjoyable view of your bird and it's location. Like the contrast between the dark jay and bright green foliage. Nicely done!

You are right. It is the same bird. I have three more of them in different environment scratched out, but to paint them will take some time.
