Hi, this is an excellent photo, and hard to imagine the scale but the balancing looks almost stone-age. Many thanks for sharing kind regards Colin

Wow! There are so many things I love about this photo. The amazing color in the sky matches so well with the stacked rocks and the waves. The waves are light and not too harsh which adds a quiet and calm component. Since the waves are so calm it even seems like the rocks are peaceful too the way they are stacked on each other. Everything in this photo goes so well with eachother. Really nice ! :)

oh top i can hear ya.."i asked those mexicans where can i go to a rock concert. they send me here! maybe my spanish is not right when i say concert!" LOLOL. this is a cool and colorful concert..wild how balanced they are and its wild that they havent been blown down. the angle of the shot of this colorful sunset behind the rocks is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

a great composition Steve with these two people made of stacked stones watching the seting sun; as usual, an entry clearly "out of the box" with sharp details;

Steller BFF!

I love the different look to each set of stones. They seem to have their own personalities and you have made them alive and in tune with nature.

    Hey BFF,

    Been here in Puerto Vallarta since November 1. Will be leaving for Ajijic at the end of the month. Plan to be there until June maybe July. These rocks are from here in Puerto.

This is beautiful FS, and it really makes me think of two people facing one another. The stone figure on the right appears to me as the male, the one on the left the female, perhaps because of size...
It's unique in that the sun setting behind the male seems to enlighten him....or he is the enlightened one of the two figures. This is really a wonderful and artistic image and I very much enjoy your title.
Are they watching each other, are they watching over the vast sea, much thought given to the imagination. The sky is perfect for creating the mood this image evokes. Bravo FS!

It amazes me how those rocks are staked and balanced so they do not tumble down. Those rocks look like artworks of our ancestors at the stone age. Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The sunset colors in the background and the reflections in the water are fascinating. How the light emphasizes the sculpture at right is remarkable. The rock sculptures are excellently placed within the frame, The mixed media is well composed. The composition is balanced.

    Thank you so much Cleo. Yes it is amazing how they can balance these big stones and make them stand. They make for a wonderful silhouette as the sun sets.

Reminds me of another one you posted on here steve,i like the simplicity in this one and yes they do in a strange type of way remind you of two people,if you could have tied a piece of rope between the two it would have looked as if they were holding hands...Brian
