Yes, looks like and sounds like a great place for evening photography! Your fine and traditional composition offers us an enjoyable view of your carefully arranged stones. Wonder just how big they are? Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

Thanks a lot Nik for your review. The stack stones are about 5 feet high. The stones are pretty good size and it takes a bit of effort to lift and balance the upper stones. They are actually pretty heavy. Thanks again Nik ~ Steve

Steve,
a very beautiful 7 atmospheric picture of the silhouetted Personalities created by the stacked stones on the beach in Puerto Vallarta facing out to sea, as they watch the sun slip beneath the horizon the head of the "person" on the right has the sun's disc behind it with it's golden rays glowing around it's head as it colours the surrounding sky in a soft peachy orange glow that is reflected on the glistening surface of the sea between you & the horizon. Artistic & imaginative composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques.
I have stacked stones inside my front door on a ledge & the two Stone Men stand guard on my Rockery in the garden.
Susan

The sky just looks fantastic in this photo Steve, and I especially like how the setting sun is sitting right behind the top of the rock on the right. It looks like the "statue" is glowing.

The silhouetted rocks are standing out sharp and well defined against the colorful sky, and the exposure is spot on.

I also like the way you cropped the photo and the placement of the rocks a bit off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

This is just lovely! I am using your sunset as a desktop right now but This would be great in future! When I first opened this, for some reason I got the impression of the bust of a" haloed" goddess with a short haircut. Thanks so much for all, Ive been fighting hackers right now that my graphics and writing projects brought in, is why I have not replied... This is super -- my admiration!
