I think you have a series of this group of photos. What is so fantastic about this one are the amazing reflections by the side of the walk. Your excellent camera techniques caught another flash of something special there!

the soft light from the sunrise really is beautiful and i like the golden glow it's added to reflection in the water as well as some of the taller structures in this well captured skyline. My brother-in-law lives here. This looks like a painting,your focus is crisp showing the gorgeous details in the skyscrapers. Excellent angle with the pier leading us into the picture. Best wishes to you in this contest with this great image!

fantastic capture....the light is the sky is very soothing....your composition is excellent...the tall buildings at the back give depth to the photo.....the couple walking on a pier with faint reflections in the water add charm to the photo.....good luck for the contest....

very cool capture. the angle of the shot of these walkers on the pathway with water, city skyline and colorful skyview is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Nik,
A dramatic Chicago dawn with a couple walking along the curved Piet on which the golden rays of the rising sun are shining & glowing behind the city's skyscrapers colouring the sky from orange to gold fading in to the blue sky of the day night above the buildings the colours in the sky & the skyscrapers are reflected on the mirror like surface of the water beneath the curved Piet. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
