Sunset in Paradise

The rain is really pelting outside. I went down the road to our local shops for milk and it is cold rain as for snow. The skies are sullen, heavy and grey. Could I walk anywhere? I like to take a mile walk when I can. Don't think so, and then I see this. Enough to brighten anyone's day.

Thank you Renate-Bertodi. We live in Tennessee and have similar weather. That is why we are here in Ajijic, Mexico right now. The weather is perfect almost every day. Glad this one brightened your day ~ Steve

Steve,
A beautiful. Ocean sunset framed by the fronds of the Palm tree in the foreground the sun glowing through the clouds along the horizon while colouring the sky above in shades of orange fading into the blue above. The cloud formations adding interesting colours & shapes into the sky. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Less is more and it's nice to see a photo not so heavy manipulated with filters.
The silhouette Palm Fronds are a perfect natural framing for this lovely sunset.
Nice work ;)

really a lovely photo, shot through these wonderful palms. the sunset behind gives it such an atmospherically, magic vibe. the colours and clarity are truly awesome. reminds me of my times on some thai islands, before they got ruined by a zillion tourists.

A beautiful capture of the sunset! I love the framing within the palm fronds as it lends a completely natural and lovely view for the colors. There is great clarity and focus and the dof is nicely achieved.

Wow. Lucas you always 'See' what the Master has placed right in front of us. Maybe I have told you before, when ever I go out to capture HIS artwork I always pray :"Lord show me what you want me to see". Sometimes it is nothing. Other times it is beyond my comprehension and all I can do is push the button on the cell phone. The resulting images are so far above what I could ever create. That's why I Never take credit for Any of my photos.

So, let's BOTH give Him a SIX and Thank Him for allowing us to get a tiny glimpse of Him ~ Steve
