oooooooooooh look at him. Do they look for cover when it snows? Do they stay in herds or just run about lose where ever they see warmth or cover. In that cold weather you have patio doors? Oh yes, I remember, electricity is much cheaper in USA than in UK. wonderful photo.

Thank you so much! They seem to do just fine during the winter, yes we have sliding glass doors , it?s natural gas heating the house!

He was only asking for some eggnog and little Christmas spirit! I question he got none , only his picture taken and posted here.
Great photograph, especially with the white snow and black background of the night. Details and light shining on the moon is beautiful.

Good shot of this moose but bet it was a bit scary when you see him, different thing to see in anybodys back garden certainly would not see that over here,a dog or cat maybe but not a moose...brian

Thanks so much Brian! These guys come through the neighborhood and munch on trees and shrubs. I am standing up in the doorway of my sliding glass doors.

This is a wonderful portrait shot of the bull moose! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

What a great opportunity and you grabbed it. There is a mystical quality about this and very Christmas spirited.

Wonderful presentation.

The light falling on his face and antlers is perfect. The black background is the mystery. Well done for drama and artistic merit too.

There is always a possibility that you reach my centre.. and this did. A really unusual and appealing capture close up.

He looks almost funny with the snow on its nose and eyes. He seems to look for a warm place away from the snow storm. He reminds of a teenager lost in a unknown city. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. The moose is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

What happenstance. This is a very nice impromptu moose portrait. It even looks like he posed for it. One question. Do you sleep with your camera? Reasons for my five star vote.

Thank you so much LeeAnn! He weighed over a thousand pounds! After he left my yard he went across the street to eat crab apples in a neighbors yard!
