What a beautiful Christmas scene! I love the wreath and fire in the fireplace, the presents all wrapped and the comfortable chair with the blue blanket with red trim where the adorable puppy is fast asleep, waiting for a visit from Santa! This is very well rendered with such wonderful attention to detail. It's warm and inviting . Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

This painting is lovely. The little puppy is adorable. He apparently tried to stay away to see Santa arriving, but jet he fell asleep. Probably he dreams now about reindeer's and Santa.
Your painting is well composed. I am impressed by the realism of detail. The proportions and the perspective are correct. The highlights are excellently set. The shading is flawless. I imagine Santa quietly moving around the chair and leaving an extra treat for the puppy.
