This is an interesting photograph especially that the angel is holding a gnome which is rather unusual, is it not?
I am curious as to whether this is an antique ornament or what? I feel that with the darker background and the light on the front of the angel or from the top, would have been a better idea for visual impact.

Thank you so much for the lovely review Jewell, and a Happy New Year to you as well. This is not an antique ornament. I actually bought it last year, and since it is made in Norway, a gnome is very common.

Indeed, we all need the protection of our guardian angels and should listen to them with our hearts.
Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The new created background shows the spirit of Christmas perfectly. The tall format is sufficient. The angel is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
