How funny! I've never had gumbo, so I'm taking your word for it. As always, you have excellent detail in your work. The turtle looks like he is also representing a crab with the way he is looking.

I grew up eating these critters.. don't let my last name fool ya ..I'm cajun on my mama's side. That side of the family last name is Garnier...and I love a good gumbo! iiiiiieeeee..lol. Thanks for the great review

sandra thats how us cajun folks talk and thats not a lobster..its a crawfish..you see this is why it is crucial you should have paid attention in geography and history classes when you were in school. maybe you would understand other cultures than just your own..now let me help you with something else. if and when you decide to become a premier member here on FAR you need to understand the ranking system..when you award someone a 3 star it means your work sux..throw it away and start over...however, since your just a standard member this review doesnt count..you want your review to count..so spring the money and pay the membership..then we members get review YOUR work and rate it.

wonderful picture. Mr Flood, have you seen all the creatures you feature so perfectly? IS it familiarity that creates these wonderful creations? I know America is very different. I visited Arkansas three times trying to find a way in and there were amazing number of birds and animals. A wonderland for me from an english city.

i worked all over Arkansas but im from Mississippi. oh yeah i grew up around these critters..the only thing i didnt put in is the gator. gator can be throw into gumbo but not common. we like to grill or fry gator. thanks for the good review.
