You have pictured this lovely Kingfisher so well Susan, and the light is falling on the bird in such a nice way. The bird is also standing out really well against the softened background.
The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. I also like the frame you have added with the text in the lower right corner. A truly lovely and well taken photo.
